This year’s theme,“Enterprising Women,” focuses on the lives of women entrepreneurs in America from the birth of the nation to the end of the 20th Century.
Guest speaker: Virginia G. Drachman, Phd. Author of "Enterprising Women: 250 Years of American Business"
Virginia Drachman is the Arthur and Lenore Stern Professor of American History at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Her specific expertise is in Women’s History, Medical History, and History of the Professions.
During the luncheon, Professor Drachman will inform and entertain us with stories from her research about women who have overcome adversities, created new products and businesses,and made an historical impact, opening the door for future generations of women.
